I VOTE...we are all done!

I am so excited that Blake and I are done voting. Wow has this been a long election process this year. For our state this year we had a total of 14 amendments, 3 city referred measures, and 4 referendums to vote on. They sent an information booklet in the mail just so we could understand everything they were having us vote on(so happy for that). Sometimes I wonder if the politicians even know what they are talking about when they write these things. We decided to do mail in ballots this year. Best decision we could have made. I like to understand the things that I'm voting on, so it was nice to be able to take the time here at home. We've heard they have a time limit on how long you can be in voting, so good luck to those of you who will be going on Election Day. I'm glad to have the opportunity and freedom to voice my opinion in this election. What a scary time this is.

"Cute as a cupcake" baby shower

I had the cutest baby shower thrown for me a few nights ago! Theme:cupcakes! How cute is that! It was so much fun...thanks to Annie, Darcy and Kristy putting on the shower for me! There were of course cupcakes...pink, brown and white (I LOVE pink and brown together) and lots of other delicious fruits and veggies. Thank you to all who came. She is going to be one "stylin" little girl!

My awesome friend Darcy made the invites for the baby shower...they are so cute! The magnets, made by my sweet friend and hostess Annie, were given to all the guests! They are hard to see in the pic...but they are adorable!

A little bit about...the good ole' school days

Cailee is in kindergarten this year and LOVES it!! We had parent teacher conferences this last week and since I was on bedrest, missed it, but Blake went and her teacher said she was doing great! We are so proud of her.

Abby is in Joy School this year. There are five of us Mommy's who teach and Abby is a loving it. She is insistant on calling me teacher when it's my turn to teach...it's so funny! I've seen her grow so much socially since she started...she just loves her friends!

Brandon isn't so sure he likes the girls in school, but he does enjoy playing on the playground when we drop off Cailee at school. The first few times we took both Cailee and Abby to school, he cried all the way home. It was so sad.

Breaking into the blogging world

After months of people asking me if I have a blog, I can finally say "YES"! I've decided to break into the world of blogging. Wish me luck...cause here we go!
